A typical issue for equipping multihead weigher with timing hopper is that when weighing the products with large unit size and weight, the collision between the products and the hopper wall will cause gap therefore material leaking. After a committed effort, we have found that the major failing point is the locking mechanism of the timing hopper. The hopper door opening mechanism is controlled by stepper motor and photoelectric sensor, a single stepped motor driven hopper tend to have the lock problem. ZHongshan Multiweigh implements two stepped motor driven system, each door leaf is driven by independent motor therefore solves the material leaking problem.
